The concentration camps got soon turned into extermination camps to rid the world of inferior people. This was not new practice for the Germans. The Germans had been sterilizing feeble minded and handicapped and by 1939, they practiced mercy killing. Children of Mercy Killing were injected with poison, so they can clean the gene pool for those who are handicapped or feeble minded. Killing centers or death camps were to murder large numbers of people. After arriving, men were to the left to be stripped of belongings, head shaved, and tattooed an identification number. Women and children were not as lucky. They headed to showers, they were stripped and were forced to showers. The showers were packed tight, so you couldn't move. The Zyklon B-gas started the agonizing. The bodies were burned in an expensive program of crematories. Concentration camps focused on getting work done for industry; the inmates produced until they died. Death camps were kill quickly as possible. The items of the victims were disinfected and sorted for valuables. 12 million people died, close to 6 million were Jews.

Hitler Kills Jews
Hitler created concentration camps and the first step was that the Jews and other people were taken to a railroad station and herded into boxes. Concentration camps were work camps. The boxes were full and there was no room because everyone was crammed in their. Their possessions were taken too. As they were exiting the train, the train was paraded by muzzled dogs and there was an orchestra playing light music. The second step was the sorting process. A man in a white coat would point you to the right or the left, life or death, women and children were sent to death, but men who were able to work were kept alive as slave labor. Kids would also lie about their age and their job, so they could live. People didn't know which line was death and which line was life. The men would also prick their finger and put the blood on their face, so they looked healthy. The third step of the concentration camps is that those that lived were tattooed a number on their arm to dehumanize them. All of their hair was cut off. The hair was used on coats, socks, mattress, stuffing, ropes, and bomb mechanisms.
