Nightmare at Auschwitz!

Chapter three was a bad chapter for Elie and his family because when Elie and his family arrived he saw a German man with a gun saying man go left and women and children go right. Elie was asked how old he was and he said 15, but the German officer said no you are 18 and same thing with his father beche said he was 50 and the officer said 40 and they were heading left. And so he and his father were separated from his mother and sister. I felt bad because when they entered one man mentioned if his wife and two kids were okay because he heard that a train from Sighet had just arrived. Elie knew she was the woman who was beat up in the train and so he lied to him saying that they were okay and he said that they been okay was the only thing keeping him alive and after he left he was never seen again by Elie. He also gave Elie some tips to work hard because the weak will be killed. It got even worse when Elie saw children been tossed in  chimney and thinking this was not real. His father was with him and both of them got a haircut. Also they got a tattoo and when they were alone they eat bread and some of the Jews with them said that they should of killed themselves rather than been in the camp dying slowly.

After eight days Elie was doing okay with his father, but it sucked that he ddin't here anything about his mother and sister. The rest of the Jews who did well on their jobs were sent to other camps and Elie and his father and a few hundred Jews were left until the next transport was available. In the end of the chapter w they were been transported and when they arrived in a new camp named Buna. They saw the German guards with no hurry because they were talking to German girls, to be kissed and tickled and bursting into laughter. I feel bad that Elie and his father don't know what will happen to them and still don't know anything about his mother and sister, they could of died back in the camp or do labor work. One thing that I liked about the chapter was that Elie and his father were not separated and not chosen to die. I feel bad about the man who asked about his wife and children because they were probably chosen to be killed and so Elie lied to him telling him that they were okay when he really had no idea.
