but no one listened to him. He tried to warn people that the Nazis were dangerous, they weren't trying
to keep them safe they were trying to get rid of them. He explained to people that they were piling
dead bodies on top of dead bodies. They would have to dig their own graves without even realizing it.
The only reason he was able to get out of there was because he was shot in the leg and left for dead.
They didn't think he would be able to make it out alive so they left them. Moishe the Beadle was
barely able to escape with his life, because they didn't think he would make it. He was able to be a rare
survivor, normally the Nazis would have killed him with another bullet, but they would say it was a
waste of ammo. They probably saw his age and where he was shot to think that he wasn't worth it. I
find that very saddening.
Moshe the Beadle tried to make people listen with all his might, because he didn't want
people to go through everything he went to. He even yelled out listen to me, no money, no pity, just
listen. He wanted people to be aware that they were to be in danger, but no one believed him. They
thought that the Nazis would never accomplish was they had set out to do. They think that it didn't
affect them, but Moishe the Beadle, knew that it would affect them. He was seen a someone in
poverty, so people didn't really care what happened to him, so they didn't listen. If only they listened
and believed him. They could have said something and spoken up and out against the Nazis before
they gained a ton of power and killed so many innocent people who didn't deserve it. Why didn't they
understand that what Moishe the Beadle was telling was true and not false. If only they listened,
something could have been done in order to help others understand what is happening to the Jewish
people and the others who were considered an undesirable.
