In chapter 1 Elie had meet Moishe the Beadle. Moishe the Beadle had been the jack-of-all-trades in the Hasidic house of prayers, a shtibl. Elie had spent his childhood in a little town in Transylvania, where Elie had found him. Moishe the Beadle had been Elie's master and he would have enjoyed learing all about the studies, that Moishe the Beadle would have taught him. Moishe the Beadle would have told Elie that he must be thirty before venturing into the world of mysticism, a world fraught with peril, but all Elie did would have studied. He enjoyed his studies and would have wanted to know more and more. It had seemed that Moishe the Beadle had trusted Elie, that is why he would have told him all of this things, it was as if he would have known the answer to alomst anything.
People would have not only refused to hear Moishe he Beadle's tales, but they would have refused to listen to him over all. No matter what, Elie had continued to devote his studies, it would have been Talmud during the day and Kabbalah during the night. Elie's father would have tooken care of his business and the community. Elie's grandmother had came to spend Rosh Hashanah with him and to attend the services of the celebrated Rebbe of Borsche. Some things had been pretty tough before, things had been falling silently and even Moishe the Beadle. The German troops had penetrated Hungarian territory with the government's approval, and that the people had began to worry in the Eastern.
Andrea good job on your blog post, it has good detail in it, and shows that you had clearly read the chapter. I feel that you are missing a little bit of detail on this blog post, this could have been a little bit longer and better to read and enjoy. I also wished to see your personal opinion of the chapter, and how you think was right and wrong that the Jews and Moishe had done in this chapter. Overall good job on this blog post Andrea.
ReplyDeleteAndrea good job on your summary overall. I think that it was very rude of the Jewish people to ignore Moishe, everyone deserves a chance to speak. I think that the Jewish should of taken action when they started to feel worried, but because they didn't they got killed.
ReplyDeleteAndrea good here on summarizing what basically happened in the chapter. It had clear detail that you have read the chapter. There were some detail that was missing in the summary that I think that you could of added. Overall goobjob on your opinion and your summary.
