Hitler after he was sent back from the fighting in WWI joined the Nazi party, and he soon went up the ranks, and he became a leader, and when he was speaking in a group of people he lied a lot, because he told people what they wanted to hear. He did a lot of things well while he spoke, he pushed all the right buttons of the Germans to hate the Jews, because what he said is that they were the reason Germany lost the war, because they didn't help at all, and they were only interested in their God, and Money, and this made the Germans very angry. Hitler soon tried to overthrow the government, but he was arrested, and sentenced to 3 years of prison , but the people of Germany forced the Government to lower the sentence to 6 months, and during prison he wrote a book called Mein Kampf, which translates to my struggles, and in the book he outlines everything that he was going to do if he got to power, few people read it but they did not do anything about it they just sat in the dark doing nothing to stop him. In the 1932 elections he lost by a slim margin, and the president was Von Hindenburg, and since he was old Hitler offered him that he would do his work if he appointed him chancellor, and Hindenburg did do that. Two years later Von Hindenburg, and Hitler had became President, and he had complete control of Germany, and segregated Jews with new laws that he made.
In the Start of world War Two Hitler makes walls around cities, and puts a very large amount of Jews in the city, so they could die from disease, and starvation, but this seemed way too slow so Hitler turned to Mobile Killing units. What the mobile killing units did was that they rounded up jews, and they took them far from the cities that they were in, and lead them into forests, and they made them dig a big hole, and told them to get inside it, and when they finished they ordered them to lay in the pit face on the ground, and they shot them in the back of the head, and they ordered the next person to lay on top of the other body, and they would shoot them too, and the process would repeat, Hitler deemed this too slow, and expensive, so they turned to the final solution death camps. German soldiers would transport a large amount of jews into a camp, and they would separate them by women, and children, and when they separated the men went to work, and the women, and children would be sent to go take a shower, and they put hundreds of people in a single small room, and they would gas them with cyanide, and they would die. WHat they would also do is take all the belongings of the jewish, ans make money off of it, they would also remove teeth with unsanitary equipment, and or spoons, and pry the tooth out of their mouths, and they would take out the gold, and or platinum fillings, and make money for war efforts. Men would be forced to work until death, and when the men died they would be taken to ovens to burn them to ashes so the Germans wouldn't have to make graves for the men, and they would make jewish workers burn the bodies for extra rations of food.
Sam, I can understand a lot of the things you are explaining here. I like how you explained the "Final Solution," and a lot of examples of it. A person who had no insight on Hitler's actions and the causes of these actions would be able to understand from this post.
ReplyDeleteYou had great content here! I really liked how you he had risen in rank, and had lied about many things during his time. Also how you'd explained how he'd "pushed the right buttons" to make Germans agree with him and like him, you then explained how he'd said that Jews had been the reason they'd lost the war, because they did not help, etc. I also liked how you thoroughly explained the death camps, and how gruesome they were.
ReplyDeleteGood job pointing out how he lied a lot just to make Germans hate the Jews and how he blamed them for losing the war. He also pointed out their religious beliefs saying that all they cared about was God and money. Nice detail on how the three years was shortened to only 6 months. I think that the few people that did read the book should've spoken up or something. You have some depth and detail on the sad facts of the concentration camps too.
