The Past of Adolf Hitler

On the evening of April 20, 1889, at 6:30 p.m. Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau am inn, a town in Austria Hungary. His father's name was Alois Hitler, and his mothers name was Klara Hitler, there has been proof that possibly they were second cousins. When Hitler was young, he was very loved by his mother, it was as if she was always there for him when he needed her. Of course, they had created a strong bond between the two, Hitler was a mama's boy and loved his mother dearly.  However, Alois was a very strict father who wanted absolute obedience, he would hit his children. Hitler describes that when he was younger he promised to himself that he would never again cry when his father whipped him. After the beatings from his father, his mother would care for him and bathe him. As a child, he would have huge temper tantrums when something doesn't go his own way, he would then have unexpected rants and ravings. Including, that he would have hallucinations that continued throughout his life. When school began, Hitler failed at many things and was not very social with the people at his school. He once faked an illness and tried to persuade hi smother that he wouldn't be able to continue with school .Hitler loved art, so hedieced that he would want to enroll in art school. However, that didn't go well, he ended up being rejected by the school for failing his entrance exam.

Hitler refused to work, and so he fled Austria when he could have been drafted. He was in poor condition, and when he was caught, he failed the exam, he didn't have to serve in the austrian army.
Due to Hitler not being good in school, he probably wasn't able to earn a high paying Job, so he turned to the army. Hitler served in the German army after he moved to Munich, he made himself believe that he was fully German rather them hi actually being Austrian. While serving, Hitler found his love for warfare, he would volunteer for dangerous missions, this resulted to him winning medal and the Iron Cross for his bravery. When Germany lost World War I, Hitler became very depressed. During wr, Hitler was wounded by a mustard gas attack, he slowly healed in the hospital. When he was released he was very bitter from Germany's defeat and began to blame jews. Due to the mustard gas attack that he was affected by, it actually enhanced his vocal cords and made him able to speak louder. So, when he spoke in his normal voice, it would sound pretty loud. Hitler joined the Nazi Party (Fascism), he later became the leader in the party. Hitler discovered that for some reason he could attract many followers, and slowly his followers would grow. His ranting and ravings received many responses by a few people, but later on he will share his hatred of the Jews and the lon

  1. Interesting post, Emily. I enjoyed reading what you wrote about. All of the extra information that you researched on Hitler and his life was intriguing to learn, and it gave more details that helped connect the dots in his life. I do agree with you on your thought that because Hitler wasn't doing well in school, he turned to the army to find a job. This is a good possibility that may have been the reason as to why he joined the army. Overall, good job Emily!

  2. Overall, you have a very good summary of Hitler's beginning. You have a lot of detail about his personal life. Like how he did not have the best childhood with this mother who would spoil him and not a very good fatherly role. You also did a good job mentioning art school and how he got rejected. You have a lot of facts about how he did not want to work, fled because of the draft, and ended up being a German soldier. However, you do not have much of an opinion in this blog post. Next time, maybe add how you felt about his childhood; do you see why he would do this where he came from?

  3. very good job Emily in your blogpost.I loved reading your blogpost even though we all talked about Hitler. I think you are the only one that research more about Hitler which made you blogpost very interesting. Very good job mention how he was rejected. You also talked about his father role and how he left them and how he didn't even have one. I would only add a little bit more to your side of the opinion but overall good job Emily.

  4. Good job with your blog and how you described Hitler's past. He was a failure during his past which led him to be angry. His failure led him to warfare, which he liked, but when Germany lost, he blamed it on the Jews and was angry at them. He is angry at all the events in his past and that is what led to Germany trying to regain power.
